A leading food & beverage industry in the Kingdom of Bahrain is seeking to hire a credit and administration specialist
Core responsibilities:
- Oversee and support the accounts payable & accounts receivable team to assure the compliance with the local fiscal and mandatory requirements.
- Guarantee timely payment of supplier invoices, maintaining supplier master data, and monitoring related payments transactions.
- Carry out daily activities to ensure continuous control & follow-up of customers risks and limits with different kind of collaterals.
- Perform monthly balance sheets accounts reconciliation (provide inputs, review and assess periodic cash flow forecast)
- Follow up with customers to ensure timely payments, resolve issues, and investigate debtor payments issues.
- Liaise with regional HR in the execution of HR operational activities in the area (including time attendance, compliance with local authorities, medical plan, mobile phones, travel management, local HR policies etc.).
- Review and analyze open invoices to ensure accuracy and completeness and monitor outstanding amounts to identify discrepancies.
- Contribute to both internal and external audits in the periodic review of the company financial records.
The incumbent must have a:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in F&B I FMCG I Retail Industry, preferably in credit management credit or administration role.
- Strong analytical skills and interpersonal skills, with a focus on teamwork and collaboration.
- Strong communication skills, MS Office Excel and ERP preferably SAP.
