Bakery manager | Kingdom of Bahrain

A leading food & beverage industry in the Kingdom of Bahrain is seeking to hire a bakery manager

Core responsibilities:

• Responsible for the administration of the safety programs and oversees plant safety.
• Ensures that the facility adheres to all corporate policies, procedures, and objectives with full accountability for compliance of all applicable food safety regulations and standards.
• Develops and monitors the annual plant budget while conducting monthly reviews of expenditure.
• Reviews and approves accounts payable transactions to ensure compliance with all corporate accounting procedures.
• Recruits and hires personnel for plant operations, fleet management, and administrative roles. Identify candidates for the management training program.
• Ensure that all employees receive comprehensive training relevant to their roles, including safety protocols and operational procedures.
• Conduct market research to identify potential new suppliers as well as maintain relationships with raw material suppliers and addressing any issues as and when necessary.

The incumbent must have a:

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business administration or equivalent with level of knowledge in analysing data, preparing reports, etc.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive management experience in Consumer Product Goods, preferably in F&B industry.
• Strong analytical skills, communication and interpersonal skills, ability to facilitate collaboration and foster positive relationships within diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Exposure to multiple supply chain and other business disciplines (purchasing manufacturing, logistics, R&D, etc.)
• Strong understanding of manufacturing unit operations, exceptional project management skills
