Head of Information Technology

Seeking a Head of Information Technology for a leading Investments company

The candidate is responsible to:

• Direct and oversee the strategy and execution of the firm’s IT activities
• Partner with business areas to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, productivity, and control.
• Develop, drive, and manage the company’s digital strategy in line with organizational values and business objectives and priorities;
• Lead the organization in maximizing the opportunities of digital working cultures by shaping the skills, processes, people, and tools used to deliver the business objectives;
• Create and imbed a prioritization approach to develop a roadmap for innovation with the relevant processes, tools, and metrics to support business objectives
• Lead a team to project manage and deliver digital solutions using various techniques to responsively and effectively pilot and implement platforms where applicable;
• Manage the overall digital implementation plan to ensure all technology solutions are project managed effectively, are delivered on time, and within cost;
• Implement an environment of digital innovation and best practice, ensuring the use of technologies for the benefit of stakeholders;
• Identify and evaluate new technology developments and gauges applicability to business processes that satisfies business goals and objectives;

The candidate must have:

• Masters in Computer Science or equivalent
• Minimum 15 years of experience at a senior role and proven track-record in delivering complex projects, preferably within a multinational company
• Experience in designing, implementing, and evaluating organizational transformation digital solutions and has delivered large scale change that added value to the company
• High degree of budget management experience associated with digital technology design
• Excellent interpersonal skills and excellent communication
