A bilingual (Arabic and English) Bahraini, Zainab has worked in industry and in professional services for over 10 years, including being seconded to a leading regional sovereign wealth fund. At Keypoint, she has maintained books of accounts, finalised management accounts, liaised with external auditors and prepared VAT returns and various schedules and reconciliations according to client requirements. Prior to working with Keypoint, Zainab worked in a variety of accounting roles in the contracting, telecom, retail and logistics sectors, including leading an accounting function – which involved management reporting, analysing actual cost performance against budget allocations and handling the payroll function, among other tasks. She is an ACCA (UK) affiliate with a master’s degree in financial technology from the University of Bahrain.
