As a qualified chartered accountant (CA (India)), Abhi offers her clients – including leading oil & gas companies, some of the Middle East’s best-known retail businesses and family-owned construction businesses – a different perspective. With a ‘Big 4’ and accounting and finance background, she adds value by identifying innovative solutions to complex tax challenges. Over the last two years, Abhi has emerged as a leading national subject matter expert on economic substance (ES) and country-by-country reporting (CbCR), advising a range of businesses including prominent Islamic financial institutions, one of the world’s largest listed aluminium smelters and regionally-renowned telecoms businesses.
As well as her direct and indirect tax expertise, Abhi has been involved in statutory and internal audits with retail, hospitality and manufacturing clients, including conducting internal audits for a global hotel group at properties across India, Sri Lanka and South Africa.
