Senior Consultant – Human Capital

Seeking a human capital specialist for a leading consulting firm.

The candidate will:

• Support projects relating to HR consultancy, such as HR strategy; HR policies and procedures, organisational diagnostic reviews, competency frameworks, psychometric assessments, performance management reviews, succession planning, job evaluations & grading and compensation & benefits benchmarking
• Research client industries to assess, identify and apply leading regional HR practices
• Maintain positive business relationships with existing clients to better understand their HR needs and requirements; provide a high level of service; and win recurring business
• Draft business correspondence, such as emails, letters and proposals for and to clients
• Help prepare fee notes for client engagement and follow-up for collection
• Work towards targets set by the director, a value to be billed to clients or business leads generated, to contribute to profitable growth by helping identify new assignments and business
• Ensure client engagements are executed efficiently
• Identify/follow up opportunities to provide new solutions

The candidate must have:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in HR or similar from a reputable university/educational institution
• Professional qualification (pursuing or attained) – such as CIPD or SHRM preferred
• 2-5 years of HR experience
• Good understanding of the Bahrain Labour Law and other relevant laws and HR regional leading practice
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and resolve problems
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient computer skills – Microsoft Office
