About the service line:

Technology Consulting helps businesses understand their technology requirements, align IT solutions with those requirements and identify (and manage) associated risks, including threats to information security and data privacy. Typical engagements/work products include advising on business continuity and resilience, operational frameworks, cybersecurity and system vulnerabilities; implementing data privacy frameworks; advising on AI governance issues; advising on IT risk mitigation; supporting system selections and project management; and carrying out post-implementation reviews and IT internal audits.

Responsibilities:

  • Client engagement: Engage with clients to understand their needs and tailor proposals; act as a point of contact for day-to-day client interactions; build strong relationships; support client satisfaction
  • Project support/delivery: Enhance/maintain sound understanding of role’s technical aspect; prepare/support timely completion of various client deliverables; lead specific workstreams as directed
  • Presentation/reporting: Prepare/deliver high-quality deliverable and proposals for clients and other stakeholders
  • Technical knowledge: Keep current on relevant leading practice; enhance specialist knowledge on assigned subject matter areas; develop market knowledge; stay current on advancements and solutions related to service line/solution area
  • Data analysis/insight: Analyse and benchmark data to support insight supporting strategic recommendations and other client deliverables
  • Solution design: Contribute to the development of relevant frameworks, policies and tools tailored to client needs

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT/computer science/engineering or equivalent technical qualifications from a recognised university
  • IT/specialisation-related certification (such as CISA, CyberSec or SOC certification) essential

Skills:

  • Technical competence in the specific TC area
  • Expected underlying technical attributes
  • In-depth understanding of applicable technical standards
  • Good report writing – professional presentation and communication skills
  • Able to work under pressure and resolve problems
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and drive change in a collaborative way – both internally and externally
  • Team player with the willingness to learn and develop technical knowledge

Experience:

  • At least three years of relevant experience
