Senior Consultant | Management Consulting

About the service line:

Management Consulting specialises in various advisory services including strategic business planning, due diligence, financial analysis and business valuations, policy and procedure development, best use studies, profitability and performance improvement analysis, market research and feasibility studies, operational efficiency and leadership and change management.

Responsibilities:

• Client engagement: Support the delivery of consulting engagements across strategic business planning, feasibility studies, market research, business valuation, due diligence and policy & procedure development
• Project support/delivery: Enhance/maintain sound understanding of role’s technical aspect; prepare/support timely completion of various client deliverables; lead specific workstreams as directed; support commercial, financial, and operational due diligence assignments; develop policies, procedures, process maps, governance frameworks, and operating manuals; support business development activities, including proposal preparation, research and engagement scoping; collaborate effectively with managers/project teams to ensure timely and high-quality project delivery
• Presentation/reporting: Prepare/deliver high-quality reports, presentations, proposals, and client-ready deliverables; participate in client meetings, workshops, interviews and stakeholder discussions
• Technical knowledge: Keep current on relevant leading practice; enhance specialist knowledge on assigned subject matter areas; develop market knowledge; stay current on advancements and solutions related to service line/solution area
• Data analysis/insight: Conduct industry research, market assessments, benchmarking exercises and competitor analysis to support client engagements; analyse business and operating models to identify opportunities, risks, and improvement areas
• Solution design: Develop financial models, business cases, forecasts, valuations and feasibility assessments across various industries

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics business administration or similar from a reputable university or educational institution
• Professional qualifications – CFA, CPA, CMA, MBA or equivalent – an advantage

Skills:

• Proven experience across strategic planning, feasibility studies, market research, valuation, due diligence or business advisory assignments
• Strong financial modelling, analytical, research, and problem-solving skills
• Able to evaluate business performance, market dynamics and investment opportunities
• Strong organisational and time management abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within project teams
• Excellent report-writing, communication and presentation skills
• Proactive team player with strong work ethic, positive attitude, and commitment to delivering quality work
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook and SharePoint)

Experience:

• At least four years of relevant experience in management consulting, advisory, corporate finance, transaction advisory or a related professional services environment
