About the service line:
Technology Consulting helps businesses understand their technology requirements, align IT solutions with those requirements and identify (and manage) associated risks, including threats to information security and data privacy. Typical engagements/work products include advising on business continuity and resilience, operational frameworks, cybersecurity and system vulnerabilities; implementing data privacy frameworks; advising on AI governance issues; advising on IT risk mitigation; supporting system selections and project management; and carrying out post-implementation reviews and IT internal audits.
Responsibilities:
- Client engagement – Engage with clients to understand their needs and tailor proposals
- Leadership/execution – Determine the most effective solutions and manage engagements from planning to delivery, ensuring quality and timely outcomes
- Supervision/mentoring – Direct, supervise and mentor junior consultants; review deliverables for accuracy and clarity
- Training/knowledge sharing – Provide on-the-job training to junior staff; organise structured training programmes; participate in staff performance assessments
- Operations/governance – Follow firm’s methodology, policies and procedures on engagements; conduct/design/implement policies and procedures to improve compliance and efficiency
- Business development – Maintain strong relationships with decision makers; identify opportunities for new engagements
- Cross-sales – Identify additional service opportunities and coordinate referrals using client relationships and internal knowledge
- Workshops/seminars – Organise/lead interactive workshops on in-demand/relevant business topics
- Thought leadership – Contribute to white papers, articles and publications
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT/computer science/engineering or equivalent technical qualifications from a recognised university
- Professional qualification – such as CISA, CDPSE or SICM – required
Skills:
- Sound understanding of relevant regulatory governance
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Arabic and English
- Team player willing to learn and develop juniors’ technical knowledge while meeting deadlines and working under pressure
- Sound project management and supervisory skills
Experience:
- At least five years of relevant experience in core IT, preferably in the consulting sector and/or providing IT services
