About the service line:

Licensed by the CBB to provide trust services (Categories A & B), Keypoint acts as a trustee to family trusts, asset protection programmes, employee benefit programmes, funds, charities and special purpose trusts. Trusteeships require a thorough understanding of a trust’s activities and trust property, trust parties’ responsibilities and obligations, as well as compliance with recordkeeping, governance and regulatory compliance requirements. Keypoint is also licensed by the CBB to provide fund administration and share registry services, where our services include advising on structuring investments and set up formalities, portfolio pricing, accounting, NAV calculations, the preparation of financial statements and investment documents, KYC compliance, FATCA/CRS reporting and other regulatory formalities.

Responsibilities:

  • Project support/delivery: Assist with designing and implementing solutions for clients
  • Research and analysis: Conduct market research for industry leading practices, benchmark studies and data analysis to support recommendations to clients
  • Documentation: Assist with preparing reports, presentations and proposals
  • Client interaction: Participate in client meetings as an observer or note-taker; ensure timely follow-up on action items
  • Compliance and leading practice: Stay current on industry standards, trends and practices and relevant legislation to support project delivery
  • Administrative support: Assist with/coordinate project logistics, maintain documentation (including tracking billing schedules) and assist with scheduling workshops or training sessions

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in accounting/finance/commerce from a recognised university
  • Professional qualification – such as ACCA, CPA or CFA – desirable

Skills:

  • Good understanding of financial statements and related financial reports in accordance with IFRS
  • Knowledge of working with accounting and portfolio management software
  • Excellent understanding of Bahrain’s regulatory environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Arabic and English
  • Team player able to meet deadlines and work under pressure

Experience:

  • Up to a year of relevant experience
