Operational Excellence:
- Prepare and post all transaction entries related to recording of assets, liabilities, revenues, and expenses in the accounting system
- Responsible in documentation and maintenance of accounting records
- Monthly closing of books of account, preparation of periodic management accounts (monthly/quarterly/semi-annually/annually) along with relevant schedules
- Administer accounts receivable and accounts payable on timely basis
- Prepare monthly bank account reconciliations
- Review and process vendor payments as submitted by clients
- Responsible in compilation. preparation of audit requests and coordination of the audit process
- Preparation of financial statements and cash flows
- Carry out any other related work as assigned by supervisor
Experience & Knowledge:
- 0-2 years’ experience in financial management, with a minimum of a bachelor’s degree, B.Sc., or equivalent in accounting/finance/commerce from a reputable university or educational institution and a professional qualification (CA, CPA, ACCA, CIMA, or CMA) is preferred
- Prior working knowledge of accounting systems, such as Sage50, Xero, Zoho, Quick books, SAP, or any other preferred
- Basic knowledge in financial reporting, and other financial functions, and all applicable IFRSs preferred
- Excellent computing skills in MS Office applications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Arabic (preferred)
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and a team player
