Full time
  • For the development, maintenance, and support of company’s applications and databases
  • Design and implement database instances, refine and automate regular processes, business report generation and issues tracking, etc.
  • Liaise with users and/or external vendors to identify business requirements and resolve applications issues
  • Monitor databases performance, implement changes, ensure data integrity, apply new patches and versions as and when required
  • Create and manage system instances and handle the failover process during major incidents or regular tests
  • Resolve software problems on different operating systems
  • Study, analyse and participate in applications projects

 

The candidate must have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
  • Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) is preferred
  • Proven working experience as an Oracle Database Administrator
  • Familiarity with database design, documentation and coding
  • Excellent knowledge of data backup, recovery, security, integrity, queries language
  • Minimum 3 years of IT experience with insurance background is preferred
  • Bahrain based candidates are preferred
