Seeking an IT Operations Manager for a leading retail group.

The candidate is responsible to:

  • Strategize, design, implement, maintain, manage, and support the company’s Group IT Infrastructure.
  • Manage changes to IT services and infrastructure, including upgrades, enhancements, and the implementation of new IT infrastructure hardware and software.
  • Develop, design, maintain, and manage the IT Service Management policies and procedures.
  • Ensure the protection of the state of information technology assets and infrastructure from external/internal threats.
  • Identify, analyze, manage, and mitigate IT operational risks.
  • Perform preventative maintenance routines.
  • Ensure Business Continuity procedures are followed to recover from disasters successfully.
  • Ensure system security by conducting regular intrusion tests and applying regular anti-virus updates and controls to ensure network integrity and security.
  • Ensure efficient Enterprise Systems and end-user support are carried out as per the service level agreement and key performance indicators.
  • Ensure that all systems and security service level agreements are achieved, maintained, monitored, and reported monthly.
  • Oversees and ensures the effective governance of IT processes and systems.

The candidate must have:

  • Bachelor’s in Computer Science (Or Relevant field)
  • ITIL Certified (Or relevant professional qualification)
  • IT Governance certification.
  • Disaster Recovery certification (or equivalent).
  • Data Center Management Certification (or equivalent).
  • 10 Years’ experience in IT Operations management, including Data Centers, servers, networks, and end-user systems.
  • IT Service Management processes and systems.
  • Cloud technologies and services.
  • Data Recovery and Business Continuity Processes.
  • Data analysis and reporting metrics.
