Chief Information Security Officer

Seeking a Chief Information Security Officer for a Fintech company

The candidate is responsible to:

• Develop and maintain an overarching security strategy that meets the requirements of the organization;
• Evaluate and monitor security systems, such as firewalls, encryption, access control and authentication technologies, to ensure they are functioning properly and efficiently.
• Spearhead the development and implementation of security policies, standards, and procedures to ensure the confidentiality, availability, and integrity of corporate data and applications.
• Conduct periodic security assessments, vulnerability assessments, and penetration tests to identify and mitigate potential security threats.
• Monitor compliance with information security policies and industry regulations.
• Establish security awareness training programs and ensure compliance with security protocols.
• Provide technical leadership, guidance, and support to the IT team to ensure secure system designs and implementations

The candidate must have:

• Bachelors in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Certification in one or more areas of security (e.g., CISSP, CISM, etc.).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in information security management with a proven track record of managing successful security projects.
• Experience with cloud based infrastructure protection (GCP, AWS, Azure)
• Expert knowledge of blockchain technology (public and private) and its associated security principles.
• Hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining security solutions.
• Knowledge of risk management methodologies and frameworks.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
